I am an independent cabinet maker located in the New York state Finger Lakes Region. I began
a remodeling business in 1985 which, over the next several years, evolved into a predominantly carpentry business.
I worked with a local cabinetmaker for several years where I gained important knowledge of cabinetry building and
design. In my off hours I am constantly reading as many trade journals and magazines as I can find, in order to keep
up on all the latest techniques and tools. I especially enjoy employing new techniques to various projects as a
way of challenging myself.
I pride myself on finding the best methods, materials and techniques to build unique cutomized pieces for my
customers. I also provide estimates which are accurate, and do not "add on" charges (unless they have been
discussed with the customer ahead of time) after the fact. Many times I pass on savings to my customers
if my time or the cost of materials came in lower than anticipated. I am out to make a good living, not to
become rich by separating people from their own hard-earned money.
